The Will of God?
"For
with God nothing shall be impossible."
Luke1:37
There is no doubt that it
would be foolish to think God incapable of performing
anything He desires. All one must do is open their eyes and
ask for wisdom and understanding; the mind will receive
enlightenment from God. The veil will lift from the mind’s
eye and newfound knowledge will come forth as the daybreak.
It will be very hard to say that anything is impossible with
God. When studying the Scriptures, one can see from the
heart the possibilities that exist in the presence of an
omnipotent, omnipresent, and sovereign God. Herein lays the
dilemma. Does God’s sovereign will hinder His performance? I
dare say so. Everything in life rests upon the will of God,
not His ability to performance action. Sometimes wisdom will
restrain one from making a premature judgment call or taking
a particular action. We must weigh each statement, each
action we take, as to whether or not it will have negative
repercussions for the recipient. As the Father of all
creation, God will no doubt perform what is in the
individual’s best interest and His divine purpose for the
person and their personal role as a Christian. There is no
doubt in my heart that God has a divine plan for every one
of His children and this is where the intimate relationship
with Christ Jesus is incorporated. With the aide of the Holy
Spirit, each born-again Christian will have personal daily
instructions as a guide for this life, thus fulfilling the
will of God and His purpose for that individual. As children
of God, we may not receive all that we think we need, but we
can rest assured that God will perform, as your personal
needs demand, no matter the obstacles. Be assured dear
Christian, our loving Father will see to what is best for
His child.
Let us pray:
Holy Father, I praise you for your love,
gentleness, and kindness towards my loved ones and me. I
praise you for my salvation and standing in Christ Jesus.
Holy Father, you know what is best for me. I place all my
trust in you to perform what you deem is in my best
interest. It does not matter if I do not understand, I know
in my heart you will show me the truth of matters and in
time, enlighten my heart. I trust you completely for my
health and safety and I love you dearly for your personal
attention to my needs and desires. Holy Father, guide me in
this day and give me the strength and wisdom to deal with
those who do not believe in you. I know in my heart you will
perform for them what you want to accomplish in their lives.
You say in your word, that you desire all men to be saved. I
believe this to be true because you saved me and loved me
when no one else would look my way. I praise you endlessly
for your love and tender mercies in my life. Go with me
Father and protect me as well as my loved ones in this day.
In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN.
